The excitement is building for the LEGO BrickFair, a fan-based event traveling across the East Coast this summer, making a stop in Chantilly on Aug. 3 and 4.

The weekend-long expo features fan-built, jaw-dropping creations ranging in size, shape and theme for fans of all ages to enjoy, as well as a variety of other activities designed with the ultimate LEGO fans in mind.

Held at the Dulles Expo Center, guests can expect to see life-size, hand-built creations and entire LEGO cities throughout the space. Also, Sean Kenney, artist and LEGO-certified professional by the LEGO Group, will be showcasing his work at BrickFair. He is best known for his LEGO portraits and innovative creations.

Other activities include the LEGO Derby, bounce houses, photo ops, bingo games, mini golf, a floor mosaic and a reading rest stop with LEGO-themed books and activities.

Vendors include BrickJournal, a hobby magazine, and many more that will be selling custom pieces, mini figures and weapons to help your many LEGO creations come to life.

For more information on the event, visit brickfair.com. Plus, keep an eye out for ticket discounts on the event’s Facebook page and Instagram. // Dulles Expo Center: 4320 Chantilly Shopping Center, Chantilly; Aug. 3-4, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Tickets start at $10
