Virginia backs out of carbon-reduction plan; Prince William County picks site for 14th high school

On Thursday, Gov. Ralph Northam signed off on a state budget that includes language hampering Virginia’s ability to participate in a regional program to limit carbon emissions. (The Washington Post)

Prince William County Public Schools picked a preferred site for the 14th high school on Wednesday. The site is along Prince William County Parkway, near Hoadly Road. (WTOP)

The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is upping its patrols at bus stops after a suspicious man approached a child and offered her candy when she exited a bus. The child safely ran home and told her parents about the incident. (Fox 5 DC)
