Badwolf Brewing Company
Manassas’ oldest brewery is pouring up its Winter Warmer brew this season. The American imperial stout has hints of brown sugar with a bitterness measurement of 65 using the international bitterness units scale. // Badwolf Brewing Company: 9776 Center St., Manassas

Lost Rhino Brewing Company
Tmavy, meaning dark in Czech, serves as the moniker for Lost Rhino Brewing Company’s Tmavy Dark Czech Lager. The malty beer is smooth with a toffee-flavored finish and serves as Lost Rhino’s interpretation of the traditional lager style. // Lost Rhino Brewing Company: 21730 Red Rum Drive, Suite 142, Ashburn

Old Bust Head Brewing Co.
Cold got the best of you? Warm up with Old Bust Head’s Winter Lager and Apple Cinnamon Winter Wheat brews. The Winter Lager is a deep, amber-colored beer with notes of toffee and toasted figs,  making for a bready sweetness. The winter wheat beer is a blend of Old Bust Head’s Belgian Wit and Chinquapin Chestnut Porter. Sip it for flavors of apples, cinnamon sticks and spices. // Old Bust Head Brewing Co.: 7134 Farm Station Road, Vint Hill

Forge Brew Works
Specially released for the winter season, the Black Iron IPA at Forge Brew Works features citrus flavors with grapefruit. It’s described on the brewery’s website as “roasty” with a dry finish and a “hint of body.” // Forge Brew Works: 8532 Terminal Road, Suite LMN, Lorton

Sinistral Brewing Co.
The St. Nix Fix Winter Ale at Sinistral Brewing Company is a spiced and herbed beer, made with pale, amber, wheat, roasted and crystal malts. The team adds honey and molasses in the brewing process and finishes the product with a mix of spices. // Sinistral Brewing Company: 9419 Main St., Manassas

Dirt Farm Brewing
A part of Dirt Farm Brewing’s barrel series, the Double Axe Handle is an imperial stout, aged 11 months in Bourbon Barrels. It’s boozy but balanced, which gives you the perfect excuse to drink it all winter long. // Dirt Farm Brewing: 18701 Foggy Bottom Road, Bluemont

Heritage Brewing Co.
A spiced, imperial Belgian winter ale, The Battle of White Marsh is Heritage Brewing Co.’s most artisanal beer yet with complex tastes of fresh ginger, orange, brown sugar and cinnamon. // 9436 Center Point Lane, Manassas and 1300-1398 N. Fillmore St., Arlington

Old Ox Brewery
Hibernate until spring with Brew Bocka, Old Ox Brewery’s brew that has a malty coffee flavor that’ll warm your soul. The brewery is also offering X-Ray Specs this season, an IPA with red malts, mosaic hops and rye. // Old Ox Brewery: 44652 Guilford Drive, Suite 114, Ashburn
