Gov. Ralph Northam promises change for families displaced by I-66 construction; Arlington National Cemetery reopens after Wednesday bomb threat

Approximately a half-dozen Dunn Loring families living off of Gallows Road are being forced to leave due to I-66 construction that will move Gallows Road east. Those families are still waiting for information on where they will be relocated, and Gov. Ralph Northam said, “we have made some changes [in] the way that we approach this.”

Wednesday, Arlington National Cemetery temporarily closed due to a bomb threat that was investigated and given an all-clear around 3 p.m. The cemetery resumed its normal operating hours and closed at 7 p.m.
