Alexandria

Ben Brenman Park

Benches are located in the park, which also has some agility equipment and toys for pups to play with. It’s located adjacent to Backlick Creek. // 4800 Brenman Park Dr., Alexandria

Eugene Simpson Stadium Dog Park

Drinking water for dogs and humans and a few benches. // 426 E. Monroe Ave., Alexandria

Dog Run Park at Carlyle

Good-sized fenced area with large and small dog sections. // 450 Andrew’s Ln., Alexandria

Potomac Yard

This dog park opened in 2018, and includes water fountains, benches, shrubs, and trees in the 1-acre fenced area. // 561 E. Monroe Ave., Alexandria

Arlington

Benjamin Banneker Dog Park

Fenced area with trees and shade, watering station and stream nearby, human restroom, and an area for small dogs. // 1600 N. Sycamore St., Arlington

James Hunter Dog Park (formerly Clarendon Dog Park)

Large fenced park with a waterfall, wading pool, and benches. // 1230 N. Herndon St., Arlington

Shirlington Dog Park

Fenced area, space for small and special-needs dogs, and drinking water along a paved bike path. // 2710 S. Oakland St., Arlington

Towers Dog Park

Fenced with a separate area for small dogs, water, lights for night use, picnic tables, and lots of trees. // 801 S. Scott St., Arlington

Utah Dog Park

Fenced gravel area with pavilion and picnic tables, water, and plenty of shade. // 3191 S. Utah St., Arlington

Fairfax

Baron Cameron Dog Park

A separate fenced area for dogs under 25 pounds, portable restrooms and benches for humans, and water spigots for the pups. // 11300 Baron Cameron Ave., Reston

Blake Lane Dog Park

A grassy fenced field with little shade and no running water. // 10033 Blake Ln., Oakton

Chandon Dog Park

Fenced area with water, benches, a spot for small dogs, shade, and a restroom for humans. // 900 Palmer Dr., Herndon

Grist Mill Dog Park

Benches and trees surround this fenced park with special landscaping (mud-free). The park has water, but no separate space for small dogs. // 4710 Mount Vernon Memorial Hwy., Alexandria

Rock Hill District Park

A fenced area for both large dogs and small dogs with a capacity for 90 dogs is available at this park. // 15150 Old Lee Rd., Chantilly

South Run Dog Park

South Run has a large area with a capacity for 85 dogs and some rocks and obstacles for the dogs to play on. // 7550 Reservation Dr., Springfield

Loudoun

Leesburg Dog Park

Located in Olde Izaak Walton Park, the dog area has benches inside and outside of the fenced area. Water is also available. // 850 Davis Ave. SE, Leesburg

Prince William

K-9 Gunner Memorial Dog Park

This park contains 46,000 square feet of grass and dirt areas with a separate areas for large and small dogs and bench seating in and out of the park. // 13000 Minnieville Rd., Woodbridge
