NoVA home to the commonwealth’s worst secondary roads; Capital Gazette shooter sends letter to editor at ‘The Virginian-Pilot’

According to the Virginia Department of Transportation, 41 percent of secondary roads in Northern Virginia are now in decent condition, though the state’s average percentage of decent side roads is about 60 percent. In 2019, VDOT hopes to have 45 percent of NoVA’s side roads in decent condition.
