Fairfax County pet owners should be on the lookout for coyotes; Flash flood warning issued for Thursday afternoon

Fairfax County Animal Protection officers are using game cameras to monitor the area’s coyote activity following the attack and death of a small dog in the Parklawn community.

A flash flood warning has been issued for Thursday at 2 p.m. for Fairfax, Fauquier, Loudoun, Prince William and Arlington counties.
