Middle school is a tough time in a child’s life. They are navigating the waters of independence while still being a child. Springfield’s Summer Cove camps focus on this age group to help guide them with positive, constructive programs that entice them into fields they may not have known much about, all while teaching them life skills that will only help them in the future. Some camps sessions include Studio Art, How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse, Digital Media, Leadership, Business Startup, Amazing Race and more. This year, they are also implementing a new two-week program, The Leadership Program, for rising 10th and 11th graders that is designed to help grow and develop leadership skills while also giving campers hands-on experience by working alongside the Summer Cove staff.
