PARK(ing) Day is tomorrow, a movement that started to reclaim public space, and there are many pop-up spots and a permanent one in Rosslyn to take advantage of. Alexandria will have seven mini parks taking over the asphalt, while Arlington is planning for six. Rosslyn, however, is going in full force at the corner of N. Oak St. and Wilson Blvd. You’ll be able to get free coffee and bagels courtesy of Allspice Cafe & Catering. And there will be live music and games throughout the day (cornhole, Giant Jenga and foosball), plus you’ll get 10 percent discount cards to Rosslyn restaurants. This is also a preview for the permanent parklet that will open in the spring.
