Today marks 16 years since the September 11, 2001 attacks. In remembrance of those 184 people who died when the Pentagon was struck at 9:37 a.m., Arlington County will hold ceremonies at its plaza and county courthouse with a moment of silence recognizing when the building was hit. There will also be a 10 a.m. tribute with a bell ringing ceremony in Old Town Alexandria’s Market Square today.
