Eating fish can ease rheumatoid arthritis, according to a recent study in Arthritis Care & Research. Study results showed that 176 subjects who ate fish at least twice a week reported less tenderness and joint swelling than those who didn’t. The study suggested that each serving was linked to lower disease activity and concluded that a higher fish intake may be associated with lower disease activity in people with rheumatoid arthritis but without proof of a causal relationship.
