‘Thank You’ after ‘I Do’

Thank your bridesmaids for all of their hard work with simple do-it-yourself gifts or quick buys.

Your wedding is an important day, a day when you’re promising to spend the rest of your life with another. That’s why we invite the people closest to us, and for the bride, it’s her bridesmaids.

Bridesmaids can range from one or two close relatives or friends, to the motley crew of Maya Rudolph and Kristen Wiig. You spend time carefully selecting these women who you have a special relationship with. Your older sister, best friend since kindergarten, college roommate or close friend who doesn’t live so close anymore are all about to come together for you. Whether you’re surrounded by two or 20, you’re going to want to thank these women in a special way.

There’s no need to go over the top, after all, the wedding is about the bride. But there’s an endless amount of possibilities that can be cheap or expensive, crafty or purchased and still say thanks.

Bridesmaid gifts are a great way to show your appreciation and get in touch with your creative side. Even if you’re not one to throw a do-it-yourself wedding, anyone can put together a simple and sweet gift for the girls.

A great way to pop the question yourself or thank your bridesmaid for an amazing day is by putting together an I Do Box. You can stuff it with pictures from the past, fun quotes, and a personalized note. If you’re really trying to have fun with it, add some glitter or even a Ring Pop for laughs.

Whether you’re looking for a small token of your gratitude or an expensive statement of thanks, jewelry says it all. A long locket leaves room for a small note or picture, a dainty charm encourages layering and, honestly, who can say no to jewelry?

A framed picture can be displayed anywhere, whether it features two smiling faces or the whole bridal party. And if choosing one picture just isn’t an option, create a photo album.
