Washington Distillery

Located a few miles from the Mount Vernon estate, George Washington’s Distillery offers a peek into 18th century whiskey making. The recently excavated and renovated distillery is a treat for whiskey connoisseurs as well as those who enjoy drinking a glass every once in a while. Unfortunately, sampling the product isn’t allowed, but a small amount of whiskey and brandy is produced in the historic distillery every year and is available for purchase.
