Birthday Celebration: Each February, Mount Vernon hosts an all-day event to celebrate Washington’s birthday. Watch as reenactors partake in one of day’s most popular events, Dancing with the 18th Century Stars. Julianne Hough won’t be there, but visitors can still witness the intricate dance moves of colonial men and women.

National Treasure Tour (March-December): This tour is a must-see for fans of the “National Treasure” movie franchise. Listen as tour guides explain how the Mount Vernon sites were used as sets in the movie and tell humorous stories and anecdotes about the filming process.
