Carter Family Fold

Nestled among the mountains of southwest Virginia, the Carter Family Fold serves as a memorial music center celebrating the bluegrass melodies unique to Appalachia. Every Saturday night the nonprofit organization, named after the Carter Family (considered the first in country music), features performances in an affordable acoustic setting. Concerts are family-friendly and serve the audience bluegrass straight up.
