6 outdoor fitness classes to sign up for this weekend

From fun runs to bootcamps, take your fitness regimen outside and enjoy the beautiful spring scenery.

The skies may be gloomy, but the trees and flowers are begging you to bring your workouts back outside. Whether you want to get back on the water or break a sweat by dancing, join one of these outdoor fitness classes this weekend.

Just Commit Bootcamp

Saturday, 9 a.m.
Execute your workout goals with the help of a group setting. This class is full of encouragement, which is great to keep your motivation high while building strength and endurance. Everyone will be able to challenge themselves with cardio, bodyweight training, and core training. // Jones Point Park: Jones Point Dr., Alexandria; $20

Superhero Fun Run

Saturday, 2-4 p.m.
Break out the costumes and lace up your shoes for a family run. Everyone can become their own superhero as they test their strength in a run around the park. Prizes will be awarded for best costume. // Andrew Leitch Park: 5301 Dale Blvd., Dale City; free

Sunset Kayak Paddle

Saturday, 6-8:30 p.m.
Saturdays should be spent watching the sunset. Combine your quest for the perfect picture with a kayak paddle on the water. Enjoy the calming water and sounds of the park as you explore the wildlife at dusk. // Algonkian Regional Park: 47001 Fairway Dr., Sterling; $35

All Levels Outdoor Yoga @ Lost Barrel Brewing

Sunday, 10-11 a.m.

Sunday, noon-1 p.m.

Legacy of the Green Family Cabinetmakers Walking Tour

Sunday, 3:30-4:45 p.m.
