From a virtual health expo to outdoor Zumba, change up your workout with one of these local events.

With spring officially headed to the region this weekend, you may be looking to refocus on your health goals for the year. Whether you want to check out the annual Health & Fitness Expo or join a fun cherry blossom-themed workout, focus on your health and fitness this weekend with one of these local workshops.

FREE All About Fitness DC Area Family Friendly Fitness

Thursday, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Focus on fitness during your family time with a free workout session. This virtual class will teach participants different family-friendly exercises to complete at home without any additional equipment. Registration is required. // free

NBC4 T44 Health & Fitness Expo (Virtual)

Friday & Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
The annual NBC4 Health & Fitness Expo is going virtual. Attendees will be able to watch discussions, learn about fitness trends, and hear from health care providers. Anchor Doreen Gentzler will also be speaking to Dr. Anthony Fauci and answering your questions about COVID and the vaccines. // free

Yoga & Beer at Fair Winds Brewing Co.

Saturday, 9:30-11 a.m.

Pink Outdoor Zumba

Saturday, 10:30-11:20 a.m.
Don your favorite pink outfit to celebrate the start of the Cherry Blossom Festival. The 50-minute class allows participants to dance off the stress and calories to fun Latin and international music. A mask should be worn when possible. // 1600 S. Hayes St., Arlington; free

Nutrition Workshop: Calories, Portions, Nutrition Labels for Weight Management

Sunday, 7 p.m.
Add healthy eating to your workout routine with a class on nutrition. Spend the evening learning about how to read nutrition labels, portion sizes for different foods and calories. Pre-registration is required to receive the Zoom link. // free
