5 in-person and virtual workouts to attend this weekend

Continue to push toward your fitness resolutions by signing up for one of these weekend workouts.

With the final days of January coming this weekend, you may be looking for some extra motivation to push through your resolutions. Whether you want to relax with some yoga or lace up your shoes for a 5k, these five weekend workouts will help you reach your fitness goals.

Yoga for Kids @ Lucketts Community Center

Thursday, 3-4 p.m.
Let your little one jump into yoga with this fun and age-appropriate class. Kids will be learning different yoga poses and breathing techniques to help them manage the physical, mental and emotional effects of stress. This class is recommended for children ages 6 to 10. // Lucketts Community Center: 42361 Lucketts Road, Leesburg; free

BYOB Yoga w/ Brandi

Friday, 6-7 p.m.
Get ready for the weekend with yoga and your favorite drink. Sip and pose during this 60-minute session that will also feature poses that use your beverages as an extra challenge. F2G Power

Saturday, noon-1 p.m.
Keep pushing toward your health goals with F2G Power. This fitness class gathers people around the community to help focus on their training together, whether inside or outside of the gym. // Reston Association: 12001 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston; $22

2021 Winter Burke Lake 5k, 10k, & Half

Sunday, 7:30 a.m.-noon
Pack on your layers for an end of the month run around Burke Lake. Whether you sign up for the 5k, 10k or half marathon, all runners will receive a finisher’s coin and event shirt. Runners will be released in waves to ensure social distancing. A virtual run is also available. // Burke Lake: 7315 Ox Road, Fairfax Station; $25-$60

Bootcamp & Brunch

Sunday, 9-10:30 a.m.
Start your Sunday morning off by feeling the burn at this bootcamp workout. Warm yourself up during this chilly morning, then join the class for a refueling brunch. Social distancing will be enforced during the workout. // Reston Association: 12001 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston; $25
