It may take you moving the coffee table to be able to spread out your yoga mat fully, but it’s worth it. If you’re looking for some motivation to get up and move this weekend, head online and find these fun, heart-pumping classes from local fitness brands.

Ascend Cycle
The bikes at Ascend Cycle may not be spinning like usual, but that doesn’t mean you can’t catch the virtual core classes and live spin classes (for those with a bike at home) with the local team. This weekend, try out the Happy Hour HIIT class for free on Friday, May 15 at 5:30 p.m. to get your feel for it. If you decide you love it, hop on your bike or stay on your mat and join weekend classes such as Elevate, Back Attack and more. // May 15, 5:30 p.m.; free, home membership $99; 2413 Mount Vernon Ave., Alexandria

Barry’s Clarendon
Sometimes you just need to switch it up with different workouts, especially when you’re motivating yourself to do so from home. Luckily, Barry’s is offering four different home workout classes, from body-weight strengthening, resistance band training and weight lifting, to treadmill and weights. Even if you don’t have equipment at home, you can still make it work by grabbing what you have and toning those muscles. Class times vary, but for first-time guests, the first two classes are just $20. // class times vary; $20 for two classes (first-timers only) or $20 per class; 2825 Wilson Blvd., Arlington

Lava Barre
Get ready to feel the burn at this condensed, 45-minute barre class that will have you strengthening and conditioning the entire time with quick transitions and sweaty sets. The class is taught by Lava Barre co-founder Vanessa Ligorria, so you have no excuse to not give it your all, even if she can’t see you from across the room. // May 13-15, 5-5:45 p.m.; $25 single class, memberships available; 1528 Clarendon Blvd., Arlington

Mind the Mat Pilates & Yoga
New to yoga and Pilates? No problem. Mind the Mat has a full schedule of livestreamed classes, especially ones lined up for this weekend, ranging from hot-flow yoga to Pilates boot camp. To get your weekend started off right, sign up for the online Hot Power Flow Yoga to get your blood pumping and your muscles stretched after a long week of working from home. Plus, you can use a space heater nearby to give that extra dose of sweat if you need it. // May 16, 9:30 a.m. and May 17, 10:30 a.m.; $20 for one week unlimited (first-time members) or $29 weekly digital plan; 3300 Fairfax Drive, Alrington and 2214 Mount Vernon Ave., Alexandria

[solidcore]
Despite gathering instructors from across the country to teach daily classes, [solidcore] instructors from Arlington are still accessible on the schedule too. This weekend, catch several classes from the NoVA-based studio with Full Body (Center, Glutes & Back) At Home with senior master coach Calla from Arlington, and Full Body (Outer Glutes & Triceps) At Home with Michelle from Arlington. There are also several DC-based classes to choose from, or ones from faraway trainers too. // May 15, 6 a.m. and May 16, 9 a.m.; $15 per class; multiple locations
