HIIT (high-intensity interval training) is all the rage in fitness, with no signs of slowing down. Shred415, a HIIT fitness studio, will open its doors in Sterling on Feb. 9.

This is the brand’s first location in the state of Virginia. To celebrate, the owners, Anu and Salil Bhatnagar, are offering free classes from Feb. 9-17.

The class structure is 60 minutes of instructor-led HIIT movements, including speed and endurance drills on treadmills, as well as strength and functional movement training on the floor, where each participant has their own station of needed equipment.

The fitness studio will offer membership plans, as well as flexible packages. Services and amenities include child care, complimentary lockers, towels, showers and toiletries.

The Bhatnagars plan on spreading Shred415 locations across Northern Virginia within the next couple of years. // Shred415: 21435 Epicerie Plaza, Suite 150; Sterling; Unlimited classes $139+ recurring monthly
