Countdown to None 5K

Bring the kids with you for this family-friendly New Year’s Eve 5K. The Countdown to None raises awareness for Type 1 Diabetes. Fairfax Four Miler

Although technically not a 5K, this race made the list because of its popularity. Thousands of runners will be in attendance at this annual event, celebrating its 10th year. Register ASAP to secure your cozy sweatshirt, available while supplies last. New Day New Year 5K Run/Walk

Start the New Year with a good sweat by participating in the second annual New Day New Year 5K Run/Walk. Finishers will receive a beanie, gloves and buff at the end. Plan to stick around after you cross the finish line for a post-race breakfast at House 6 Brewing. New Year’s Day 5K

Work off your hangover and still have enough time after to enjoy your day by running in the New Year’s Day 5K at the Reston Town Center. The 10 a.m. start will give you just enough time to sleep in a little bit.
