Combining the movement of an elliptical machine within the style of a bicycle, the ElliptiGO simulates a low-impact running experience without being trapped in a gym.

The ElliptiGO is easy to use, and climbs hills easier than a traditional bicycle, reducing stress on joints.

A study done at the Exercise and Physical Activity Resource Center at the University of San Diego claimed that when the ElliptiGO is compared to biking, the ElliptiGO requires on average 33 percent more effort, and that riding the ElliptiGO at 16.5 mph is equivalent in effort to running at 7.5 mph, allowing for a more efficient work out.

The ElliptiGO is based out of Solana Beach, California, and has three models available for sale, starting at $1,799.
