6 New and Coming Soon Northern Virginia Pickleball Facilities

Try out the popular sport at one of these local venues.

By Kate Oczypok January 21, 2026 at 11:49 am

Pickleball continues to grow in popularity in Northern Virginia — and the entire country. In fact, it’s the fastest-growing sport in the country. If you want to give it a try, or are looking for new places to play, here are six new and coming soon pickleball facilities.

Ace Pickleball Club

Ace Pickleball has taken over 32,600 square feet of the old American Freight space venue in Woodbridge. Currently set for a grand opening later this month, Ace features multiple indoor courts, open play opportunities, clinics, tournaments, and more. Right now, the club is encouraging guests to subscribe to their email list to become the first to know when their first month free memberships become available. Membership fees include unlimited open play, court reservations, social mixers, events, tournaments, and clinics, entry into the Ace Pickleball Club Championship Series, and unlimited paddle demos. 2700 Potomac Mills Cir, Unit 707, Woodbridge

Greenbriar Park

As of late October 2025, five new pickleball courts are now open at Greenbriar Park. The Fairfax Park Authority says players may notice temporary pickleball striping on the courts. It plans to paint permanent lines on the court later this spring once the weather gets warmer. Greenbriar Park offers parking, restrooms, and is also ADA accessible. 4600 Stringfellow Rd., Fairfax

The Picklr

With doors set to open this spring, The Picklr is taking over a 30,000 square foot space that was once a former Marshall’s store at Cascades Marketplace in Sterling. The spot will feature 10 pickleball courts, with two championship-sized ones. There will also be a full pro shop and space for private events. For those who want to get into the sport, the Picklr Academy will also offer adult and junior instructional programs. 46262 Cranston St., Ste. #180, Sterling

DTL

DTL: Down the Line Sports Center has locations in Fairfax City and a newly opened one in Annandale. The facility in Annandale has a dozen championship-sized pickleball courts, and the Fairfax City one is a bit smaller with three full courts and one half-sized court. Annandale memberships are now live, and as of November 1, they include a $100 initiation fee. 4311 Ravensworth Rd., Annandale; 10390 Willard Way, Fairfax

Dill Dinkers

Dill Dinkers has two locations in the area, one in Manassas and one in Chantilly that opened last April. The business offers clinics and lessons for both newbies and experienced players as well as parties and private event space. 8300 Sudley Rd., Ste. A4, Manassas; 13954 Metrotech Dr., Chantilly

Pickleball Kingdom

Pickleball Kingdom is planning on opening a Springfield location soon. Locations offer equipment rental, including paddles and balls, and free coaching for all ages. More information on Springfield membership can be found by signing up for updates here.
