The health and wellness industry in Northern Virginia is not slowing down, and a new addition to the scene has arrived in Loudoun County.

BeBalanced Hormone Weight Loss Centers, a national franchise for women’s health, has opened its first Virginia location in Leesburg. The facility aims to help women who face hormone imbalances by using holistic, non-medicinal approaches—what the center calls “natural hormone balancing”—claiming to improve sleep, mood, symptoms associated with PMS and menopause and weight loss.

Women who enter the program are educated on daily stressors and how they affect health, as well as learning how to “naturally balance the three core hormones: progesterone, estrogen and cortisol,” through dietary changes and supplementations, according to a press release from BeBalanced.

The center, which opened in mid-June, is also partnering with local nonprofit Women Giving Back, serving as a collection point for patients to donate clothing to the nonprofit after losing weight.
