Favorite place to celebrate: My wife and I like to celebrate in and around Tysons Corner. There is something for everyone there, and we like to take the kids to the mall when it’s their turn to celebrate something.
Favorite place to connect with nature: This one is an easy one. I love Great Falls Park. That place is just magical. I love walking the trails and finding a way down close to the water.
Favorite place tourists don’t know about: I used to love going to Frying Pan Park as a kid. It’s great to see how things worked nearly 100 years ago, and I also love Sully Plantation—that takes you back more than 200 years.
Favorite place for a day of fun: I always love the Herndon Festival and am very happy when I get to broadcast from there live. It’s great to be back in my hometown.
Favorite place for a night out on the town: For a night out, my wife and I love Alexandria. [There are] so many great places to see, and walking down by the river always helps to calm the nerves.
Favorite place for a day of shopping: This is an easy one: We go right back to Tysons Corner, but I have to say that we love the Leesburg Outlets as well.
