Favorite place to connect with nature: Mount Vernon Trail! It’s just stunning and a great way to get to know the area.
Favorite place tourists don’t know about: Gravelly Point is an ideal spot to relax and let the sights of the city take you away.
Favorite place for a day of fun: Early Mountain Vineyards is hands down my favorite vineyard in the area, and it’s great for a day trip from the suburbs. The staff is so nice, and the wine is amazing.
Favorite place for a night out on the town: Old Town! It’s perfect for a night of walking around, shopping, drinking and eating. It’s got everything.
Favorite place for a day of shopping: Red Barn Mercantile. Amy and the team have amazing taste, and I can find something for all occasions there.
