Looking to experience Claude Monet’s impressionist paintings in an entirely different way? The Rhode Island Center has you covered with its digital exhibition: Claude Monet: The Immersive Experience.

Immerse yourself in 360-degree digital projections of the French painter’s masterpieces, such as Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies, within a 20,000-square-foot space featuring two-story projections, 4K digital mapping, and dynamic light and sound. The 90-minute show allows visitors to see Monet’s work and learn about him, his creative atelier and his gardens at Giverny.

Additionally, a virtual reality section gives people the chance to wear VR headsets to learn about the inspiration behind eight of Monet’s iconic works, including Poppy Field and Haystacks, end of Summer. After that, children can grab paintbrushes and crayons to create their own works of art that can be projected onto the virtual wall.

Tickets start at $28.90 for children ages 4–12, and $37.90 for people 13 and older. Discounted rates for seniors, students, and military with valid ID start at $32.90. VIP admission is available, offering fast-track entry, access to the VR experience, and a complimentary poster.

The wheelchair-accessible venue welcomes visitors from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Fridays, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays, and from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Sundays. Rhode Island Center: 524 Rhode Island Ave. NE, Washington, DC
