The beauty of miniature golf lies in its inclusivity. Regardless of age or skill level, anyone can enjoy a game of putt putt, with its simple rules and the leisurely nature of the game. But better yet, what if you could play a game of mini golf while admiring the views of the DC skyline?
Perch Putt is an 18-hole mini-golf course that is welcoming people of all ages to try their hand at a local game of putt putt. The golf course, which opened this spring, is located at The Perch, a serene park situated 11 stories above the Capital One Hall in Tysons. Needless to say, it’s the perfect place for lovers of mini golf and beautiful views.
The golf course is right in the middle of Tysons East, one of the fastest-growing areas of Northern Virginia, and is only steps away from the Silver Line Metro. Without a doubt, Perch Putt will provide an energetic and engaging ambience.
When you’re all mini-golfed out, you can find a retro Greyhound and a double-decker bus that have been converted into food trucks, Los Dos Carlos Street Tacos and Grandpa Hank’s Jamaican Kitchen, respectively. You’ll also be able to grab yourself a refreshing cocktail or frozen drink at Rhum Roost, the park’s colorful tiki bar.
What makes Perch Putt especially lively is its surrounding atmosphere. Its corner location at The Perch allows for easy access to plentiful amenities. Giant chess boards, bocce ball, fire pits, porch swings, and an outdoor amphitheater are all part of the 2.5-acre outdoor sanctuary, not to mention The Watermark Hotel that is adjacent to the park and offers an elevated dining experience at its restaurant Wren.
If you are looking for an event space, Perch Putt can also be reserved for private events. These private parties can include anywhere from 10 guests to a full buyout. And if you just want to spend an evening playing mini golf with friends or family, you can make a reservation here.
