Magical Light Displays Are Plugging in at These NoVA Parks

NoVA Parks’ beloved holiday light displays are flipping the switch.

By Michele Kettner November 2, 2020 at 6:00 am

Updated November 7, 2022. We could all use a little extra cheer these days, and luckily, many beloved annual light displays return in November.

Bull Run Festival of Lights

Pack the family in the car and take a drive through the Bull Run Festival of Lights. Just turn off your headlights and be amazed by the 2.5-mile-long display. November 11, 2022-January 8, 2023; Bull Run Regional Park: 7700 Bull Run Dr., Centreville; $30-$40 per vehicle

Meadowlark Winter Walk of Lights

Get in the holiday spirit at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens. Walk the garden’s trails and see how it has transformed into the ultimate winter wonderland. This year, guests will need to purchase a timed ticket for visits during prime nights. November 11, 2022-January 8, 2023; Meadowlark Botanical Gardens: 9750 Meadowlark Gardens Ct., Vienna; $16-$18

Ice & Lights: The Winter Village at Cameron Run

The annual light display at Cameron Run offers a fun, interactive light show to celebrate the holidays. This year’s event will feature three new displays, including interactive stomp lights, a walk-through musical light show, and fire pit cabanas. November 18, 2022-January 1, 2023; Cameron Run Regional Park: 4001 Eisenhower Ave., Alexandria; $9.19-$10
