Lovettsville Independence Day Celebration
July 3, 5–10 p.m.
Starting at Lovettsville Community Center, see a festive parade at 5:30 p.m. that ends at Lovettsville Elementary School. Following this event, make your way over to the Lovettsville Community Park for carnival games, balloon twisting, a live DJ, and a pool bash at 6:30 p.m. Food vendors include Lovettsville Ruritans, Hershey’s Ice Cream, and Kona Ice of Martinsburg. Children’s Roll N’ Stroll
July 4, 9 a.m.
Kids and adults can dress up in costumes and decorate their bikes, wagons, or strollers for a procession down Fredericksburg’s Caroline Street, ending in Market Square. City of Fairfax Independence Day Parade

This patriotic parade in Dale City runs down Dale Boulevard from Kirkdale to Gemini Way. See high school marching bands and community organizations showcase red, white, and blue cheer. 4th of July Hometown Celebration
July 4, 8 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Festivities begin with the Little Patriots Parade at 8:30 a.m., followed by the main parade at 10 a.m. around the Village Center. Fire trucks, antique cars, horses, and local organizations are featured, with several prizes awarded. Leesburg Independence Day Celebration
July 4, 10 a.m.–noon
Visit Historic Downtown Leesburg to view this spectacular parade traveling down King Street. The 15th annual Patriot’s Cup Competition awards the best parade entry with the winners’ names engraved on the Patriot Cup. Purcellville Independence Day Parade
July 4, 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
With a theme of “Let Freedom Ring,” the Purcellville Independence Day Parade will start and finish at Blue Ridge Middle School, making a roughly 2.5-mile loop.
