The classic 1986 coming-of-age movie Stand By Me is commemorating its 40th anniversary with a special event. Three of the film’s actors will appear at the Music Center at Strathmore in North Bethesda on March 14 at 7:30 p.m. for a live conversation.

The event, Stand By Me: The Movie and Its Stars 40 Years Later, features Corey Feldman, Jerry O’Connell, and Wil Wheaton. Feldman, O’Connell, and Wheaton will share their memories about making of the seminal movie. According to the Strathmore, “The trio will share behind-the-scenes stories, laughter, and reflections on their late co-star River Phoenix, whose powerful performance as Chris Chambers continues to resonate.”

Tickets are on sale now, ranging from $28 to $195. VIP upgrades include an autographed poster, a post-show photo with all three stars, or a premium VIP experience with both.
