Reston Town Center

As you finish your holiday shopping, make sure to save some time to squeeze in a carriage ride. Round up a group of up to six people to enjoy the twinkling lights and festive displays around Reston Town Center. Reservations will available one week before each event. Lansdowne Town Center
November 29, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Carriage rides and Santa are a perfect holiday combination. The old-fashioned carriage ride will kick off the holiday season in Lansdowne. After the ride, make sure your kids get a picture with Santa and share their wish lists. The first 50 kids in attendance will receive a special treat. Middleburg

As if Middleburg wasn’t the perfect Christmas town already, these carriage rides take it over the top. Pack some hot cocoa and grab a blanket to enjoy the charming scenery scattered throughout downtown. After your ride, grab photos with the beautiful horses. The Middleburg Museum: 8 N. Manassas
December 7, 14, and 21, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Winchester Old Town Winter Village
Saturday, December 6, noon to 6 p.m.
Celebrate the season at the annual Winchester Winter Village. The European holiday market isn’t just a place to shop and meet Santa, it’s also the perfect spot for a carriage ride. Take a complimentary horse-drawn carriage rides through the festival so you can take in the beautiful decorations and lights. Rides will be first come, first served. 1 N.
