Friday Night Live
Fridays, May 2–August 22
Featuring popular acts from along the East Coast, Herndon’s outdoor concert series is back for its 31st installment. KleptoRadio kicks off the series on May 2. Under the Covers follows on May 9 with cover songs of everything from pop to dance. Herndon Town Green: 777 Lynn St., Herndon
Tiny Music Fest on Main
Every first Sunday, May 4–September 7
Fairfax will debut a new music series of acoustic performances from a little parking lot on Main Street. It begins with folk artist Lillian Hackett, whom you may recognize from American Idol. Beer and pizza will be available for purchase. Shops on Main Parking Lot: 10409 Main St., Fairfax
Reston Concerts on the Town
Saturdays, May 17–August 23
Sip and stroll as you listen to great music every single Saturday at these free concerts. Formerly known as the Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival, the series will include acts like ABBA tribute band Dancing Dream on May 17 and genre-blending band Everything on May 31. City of Fairfax Rock the Block
Every fourth Friday, May–October

Summerbration at Reston Station

This year’s Summerbration free concert series will feature events such as the third annual Taylor Swift tribute act July 4, and Bruce Springsteen homage band Bruce in the USA on September 5. Fort Hunt Concerts

Summer Jams in Leesburg
Saturdays, June 7–August 23
Grab your blanket and jam out with friends and family in downtown Leesburg. It starts with the steel drum band Carribean Vibe on June 8, followed by pop-rock duo Tommy and Kim on June 15. 257th Army Band
Saturday, July 12
Show your patriotism and enjoy this free concert from official the musical ambassador for the D.C. Army National Guard.
