Ilia Malinin, Other World Class Skaters to Perform in Leesburg

Xtreme Ice World Premiere will gather the top figure skaters and ice acrobats at Ion Arena.

By Michele Kettner October 30, 2024 at 10:47 am

It’s not every day you get a front-row seat to watch some of the best figure skaters in the world — especially right here in Northern Virginia. Now’s your chance to watch the best of the best as the Xtreme Ice World Premiere takes over Leesburg’s Ion Arena.

On Friday, November 15, from 7 to 9 p.m., world-class figure skaters, daredevils, and acrobats will gather at Ion Arena for a night like no other. Expect adrenaline-pumping stunts, crazy performances, and fire throughout the two-hour performance.

After sweeping both Skate America and Skate Canada, Vienna native and defending World Champion Ilia Malinin is returning to Northern Virginia to perform in front of the home crowd. He will be joined by special guest Keegan Messing, with other skaters to be announced.

Former figure skaters — and husband-and-wife duo — Kurt Browning and Alissa Czisny are set to host.

Tickets range from $39 to $99 for the one-night-only event. The arena will also offer ADA accessible seating for $30. Parking will be $10 per car.
