Garden Lights Returns to the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley

After selling out last year, the highly anticipated return of Garden Lights will return to wow guests of all ages.

After a sold-out debut in 2023, Garden Lights is set to return to the grounds of the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley in Winchester this November.

From November 15 to December 1, the gardens will undergo a magical transformation as the light display turns the landscape into an immersive art experience. The display will be open starting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays.

The self-guided walking tour weaves guests through the seven-acre garden. Throughout the ⅔-mile route, colored lights, thousands of LED flowers, and lasers add splashes of color to the beautiful grounds. Expect to see additional gardens and new experiences added to this year’s display.

If you plan on bringing your little ones, make sure to keep an eye out for those sneaky gnomes. A gnome seek-and-find activity will keep your little ones entertained as you make your way through the 60- to 90-minute experience.

Cafés will be open to purchase souvenirs, snacks, hot cocoa, mulled wine, and more.

Tickets for the two-week event are $19 for adults and $6.50 for children ages 5 to 18. Members of the museum can purchase tickets at $15 for adults and $5 for children ages 5 to 18. Children 4 and under can enter for free. Tickets are available online only. 901 Amherst St., Winchester
