Abbey Road: A Tribute to The Beatles

La bohème
July 19, 8 p.m.
Experience grand melodies in this heart-wrenching and romantic Giacomo Puccini opera about Parisian bohemians. While the opera is sung in Italian, there will be English captions. Radio host and producer Mary Jo Heath, who was the Voice of the Met for 15 seasons, gives a pre-show talk about her experience in the opera industry at 7 p.m. on the Farmhouse Lawn. The Sound of Music

The hills are alive with Encore Stage’s rendition of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s musical. Listen to tunes like “Do-Re-Mi,” “My Favorite Things,” and “Edelweiss” during this two-and-a-half-hour performance based on the original, full-length Broadway version. Anniversary Party

Shipgarten celebrates two years as a Tysons biergarten with this family-friendly event. Disney’s The Aristocats KIDS

Directed by Natalia Settipani, this children’s performance of Disney’s 1970 animated film The Aristocats is filled with laughter and adventure as alley cat Thomas O’Malley works to rescue high-society cat Duchess and her kittens from a catnap. Key West Festival

Enjoy Southern Florida charm with Caribbean music and island-themed vendors at this vineyard’s Key West Fest.
