Enjoy Comedy Shows at Ambar

Dine with a smile on your face at this intimate speakeasy in Clarendon.

By Riane Oquiza March 28, 2024 at 2:46 pm

Are you looking for laughs while eating dinner? The Elite 11 Comedy Show at Ambar’s intimate speakeasy, BABA, has you covered.

Biweekly on Thursdays, the Clarendon restaurant will showcase seven stand-up comics, each performing 11-minute sets between 7:30 and 9 p.m.

Highlights include Don IV’s rapid-fire jokes and Big Al’s distinct take on life and dating. The comedy show also opens its doors to aspiring local talent with the prospect of future paid opportunities, if they can get people to laugh.

Ambar, which is on Northern Virginia Magazine’s Best Restaurants list, has an unlimited Balkan dinner for $49.99 per person, as well as à la carte options. You can make reservations at the Balkan restaurant or walk in.

Reservations are open for the shows on April 4 and April 18. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. 2901 Wilson Blvd., Arlington
