Winchester Old Town Winter Village

For one weekend, Winchester will be transformed into a cozy European village and market. The three-day event kicks off with the Second Annual Santa Crawl, at participating breweries and bars. Then on Saturday and Sunday, you can explore the Kinder Village, take a horse-drawn carriage, visit with Santa, and explore various local vendors. 1 N. Winter Capital Art and Craft Festival

The art and craft festival is back for its winter show. The weekend-long event has over 300 artisans showcasing their handmade goods. You’ll find handmade jewelry, paintings, and pottery throughout the venue. Herndon WinterMarkt
December 9, noon–7 p.m.
If you’re looking for a traditional German market right in your backyard, look no further than the annual Herndon WinterMarkt. The beloved holiday festival features traditional German music, dancing, and plenty of tasty dishes. A Very Merry ALX Jazz Fest
December 16 7–9 p.m.
There’s no better way to get into the holiday spirit than with captivating jazz melodies. The festive event will include notable tunes, spoken word performances, and art projects. First Night Alexandria

Send off 2023 with a bang! The family-friendly New Year’s Eve festival has activities for all members of the family, including live music, dancing, and fireworks.
