The Barns at Wolf Trap is expanding the schedule for its 2023–2024 season once again. Wolf Trap announced five more shows were being added to its spring season.
Back in August, Wolf Trap announced the first performances of the 2023–2024 season at The Barns. Since mid-October, 15 performances for 2024 have been added, including those announced Tuesday. Some of those recent additions include The Del McCoury Band, Glen Philips and Shawn Mullins, Masters of Hawaiian Music, Meow Meow, Black Opry Revue, and Madison Cunningham and Juana Molina.
Tickets for the five newly announced performances go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 17. Wolf Trap members will have access to exclusive presales.
Here’s a look at the new shows coming to The Barns this spring.
This is the Kit
February 22, 8 p.m.
Led by Kate Stables, the soft melodies by the songwriter and banjo player extraordinaire will fill The Barns this winter. Vermont native Sam Amidon will open the show. Tickets start at $24.
Ali Sethi
February 24–25, 8 p.m.
Sethi blends ancient and traditional art forms into his sound, and that’s made him one of the top artists in the world. He landed a viral hit with his single “Pasoori” in 2022, played Coachella in 2023, and has been on Time’s Next 100 list. Tickets start at $42. The performance on February 24 is sold out.
Joe Sumner
March 8, 8 p.m.
This isn’t Sumner’s first Wolf Trap performance. The musician is a regular at the Filene Center when he opens the show for his dad, Sting. This time, Sumner is performing his debut solo album Sunshine in the Night. Tickets start at $27.
Northern Mississippi Allstars
April 18, 8 p.m.
Brothers Luther and Cody Dickinson are the soul of the Mississippi to NoVA. The duo’s blues-rock band combines traditional with modern to create an authentic sound distinct to the American roots genre. Tickets start at $47.
Alan Doyle
April 28, 8 p.m.
The Canadian singer, actor, producer, and best-selling author is best known for his Newfoundland pop fusion as the lead singer of Great Big Sea. Adam Baldwin is set to open the show. Tickets start at $42.
