Virtually travel to the Netherlands to enjoy the Keukenhof’s colorful tulips

Just because you can’t fly to Holland this spring doesn’t mean you aren’t able to enjoy its famous tulips in bloom.

During April, the Netherlands sees a huge increase in tourism, as travelers from across the globe flock to the country to see its world-famous tulips in bloom. Unfortunately, due to the global coronavirus pandemic, travelers aren’t able to see the flowers in person this year, but don’t fret—flower lovers can still get their tulip fix virtually.

The Keukenhof Flower Exhibit, which was canceled, is held annually in the town of Lisse and dates back to 1857. It opens from March to May, displaying tulips, daffodils and hyacinths. In response to this year’s cancellation, the festival has launched Keukenhof Virtually Open, in which it is sharing a series of videos showing the grounds’ flowers.

The videos include 360-degree tours of Keukenhof, talks with gardeners on the grounds and more. To watch them all, visit keukenhof.nl or the Keukenhof’s YouTube channel.
