Here’s what’s new at Jiffy Lube Live for the summer season

Summer is here, and so is the 2019 season at Jiffy Lube Live.

Is it really summertime in Northern Virginia if you don’t spend a night (or two, or three) at a concert at Jiffy Lube Live? It’s a rhetorical question, but the point stands: Many Northern Virginians head to the venue to hear their favorite bands play, and this year’s season kicks off with Luke Bryan on June 1, Thomas Rhett on June 15 and Dead & Company on June 26 (see the full lineup here).

But besides famous names hitting the stage, guests of Jiffy Lube can expect a few upgrades to the venue this year, as well.

These updates include LED screens on the lawn for better viewing of the stage, recycling stations throughout the space and refillable water stations (don’t forget to bring your own reusable bottle to stay hydrated). Aligning with the eco-friendliness of recycling and refilling, Jiffy Lube Live will no longer serve plastic straws with their drinks, but paper straws are available on request.

For those who want dinner and a show, three new food offerings are debuting: Dog Haus, which features hot dogs, sausages and burgers; ArtBird, created by Top Chef’s Art Smith, offering buttermilk fried chicken, biscuits, mac and cheese and more; and Questlove’s Cheesesteak, a new version of the Philly classic made with Impossible plant-based meat.
