To thine own self be true, and if you’re a Shakespeare buff, then that means you’ll probably want to grab tickets to the sixth annual Shakespeare in the ‘Burg, coming to Middleburg from April 5 to 7.

Twelfth Night, or What You Will will be the main performance on April 6, at 7 p.m. (a student matinee will be performed at 2 p.m.), and winning plays from the international one-act playwriting competition will also be performed on April 7.

The Champagne brunch will be held on April 7, at 11 a.m., alongside the performances of the winning one-act plays. This year, over 430 plays were submitted from around the world.

The weekend will also see workshops at the Hill School, presented by Shakespeare in the ‘Burg’s acting company. Plans are currently underway for other local schools to be involved in the workshops, as well.

All performances will be held at Hill School’s Sheila Johnson Center for the Performing Arts.
