We’ve all been to parties on a Friday night, but what about a Friday morning … before work … before the sun even comes up? That’s what Daybreaker DC is inviting you to do on March 29 to celebrate the spring season.

The dance party, properly titled Cherry Blossom Sunrise, is being held at the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s Kogod Courtyard. Daybreaker is an events company that hosts early morning dance experiences (appropriately referred to as “sober morning raves” by BuzzFeed) in 25 cities around the world.

Daybreaker events kick-off with an hour-long yoga and fitness experience, and then guests have a dance party together. At the DC event, yoga will be held from 6 to 7 a.m., and the dance party will be held from 7 to 9 a.m. You do not have to sign up for both, but yoga guests are asked to bring their own mats.

Guests will  watch the sunrise through the Kogod’s glass ceiling, and are invited to wear cherry blossom pinks and floral colors to the party.

GT’s kombucha, breakfast treats by Manitoba Harvest, live performances and special surprises will also be highlights of the event. Daybreaker also chooses a charity each month to give back to with proceeds from its parties. This month’s charity is Girls Who Code, and guests may donate as much as they’d like.

For more information, visit daybreaker.com/event/cherry-blossom-sunrise. // Smithsonian American Art Museum: F St. NW & 8th St. NW, Washington, DC; $18.45-$35
