Five places to watch the Caps go for the Cup

History could be made Thursday night, so you won’t want to miss out.

Couldn’t get tickets to watch the Capitals potentially clinch the Stanley Cup in Game 5 at the Capital One Arena viewing party on Thursday? Don’t fret; you can still rock the red with your fellow Caps fans all over Northern Virginia.

Capitalsville
Officially changing its name in support of the Caps’ run, Capitalsville (formerly and eventually once again Lovettsville) is ready to rival the Capital One Arena with its own festivities on its Town Green. Starting at 7 p.m., music and hockey games will take place pre-game. Food will be available from local venues on the Green, while other restaurants will offer specials for take-out; the Lovettsville Lions Club will provide popcorn and snowcones. When the puck drops, the game will be shown on a movie screen at Walker Pavilion. // Town Green: 11 Spring Farm Drive, Lovettsville

Rustico
Ballston Business Improvement District (BID) and Rustico Ballston are ALL CAPS, teaming up for their viewing party. Drink specials will be available during the game, while 75 cent wings will be offered all day. Ballston BID will also be giving away Caps gear and a $100 gift card to the Capitals pro shop. Fans can also take a picture with a digital statue of Alex Ovechkin through the BallstonConnect mobile app. // 4075 Wilson Blvd., Arlington

Mister Days
Can’t wait for the game to get the party rolling? Mister Days will have $2 beers (Miller Lite, Bud Light and Narragansett Drafts) available from 4-6 p.m. There will also be in-game specials like $7 “big boys” (24 ounces) of Bud Light and Miller Lite, as well as $20 buckets of beer and $12 pitchers. The game, with the broadcast audio, will be displayed on the projector screen. // 3100 Clarendon Blvd., Arlington

Don Tito
Don Tito has been known to be a place to see some of your favorite Caps out and about, so it will return the favor by playing the game from its floor-level all the way up to the rooftop. Frozen margarita specials are also going to be available. // 3165 Wilson Blvd., Arlington

Twinpanzee Brewing Co.
Twinpanzee isn’t turning the lights off until it knows if the Caps are victorious or not, staying open late to watch the game, and possibly celebrate with a special surprise for Caps fans in the event of a win. Discounted pints on all brews will be available during the game. // 101-D Executive Drive, Sterling

Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final will be on Thursday at 8 p.m.
