A velvet-cloaked box of imported chocolate and a trip to Paris? Or a carton of conversation hearts and a frozen meal? Whatever your budget, NoVA has options for you this Valentine’s Day.

Splurge

Champagne Lovers’ Celebration and Dinner at L’Auberge Chez Francois

In addition to serving a five-course dinner on Valentine’s Day, L’Auberge will also have a special menu on Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. loaded with champagne pairings throughout. For $195, savor canapes, seafood, chocolate ganache and an assortment of sparkling elixirs. And while you’re sipping, take in the sounds of a classical guitarist. Make reservations soon as spots are limited. // L’Auberge Chez Francois: 332 Springvale Road, Great Falls

Valentine’s Day Celebration at Trummer’s on Main

To accommodate multiple schedules, Trummer’s is offering Valentine’s Day dinner on not one but four nights. From Feb. 11-14, feast on the prix fixe dinner for $86 or the tasting menu for $98. Options include oyster stew, glazed pork belly and red velvet cake. And if a daytime meal is more your speed, Trummer’s has that too, with lunch on Saturday and brunch on Sunday for $42 per person. (Prices do not include drinks, tax and gratuity.) // Trummer’s on Main: 7134 Main St., Clifton

Valentine’s Card-Making Workshop at Arlington Arts Center

On the big day, why not give your honey a homemade card—or better yet, make cards together? Head to Arlington Arts Center on Feb. 3 at 6:30 p.m. for adults-only DIY fun as you learn printmaking from one of the instructors. Register in advance for $40 per person. // Arlington Arts Center: 3550 Wilson Blvd., Arlington

75th Anniversary Showing of Casablanca at Angelika Film Center

You can’t get more romantic than this film classic, packed with memorable lines and iconic scenes. For only $8 a ticket, watch Bogart and Bergman’s gut-wrenching love affair on the big screen next to your soul mate at 7 p.m. on Feb. 14. // Angelika Film Center Mosaic: 2911 District Ave., Fairfax

Valentine’s Evening Serenade at Jammin Java

Trade in the extravagant meal for some comfort food (did someone say three types of mac and cheese?) and a troubadour. Noah Guthrie, who has appeared on Glee and Dancing with the Stars, will provide the tunes at $15 per guest. Doors open at 6 p.m. on Feb. 14. // Jammin Java: 227 Maple Ave., Vienna

Sweetheart Library Tasting at Sunset Hills Vineyard

On Feb. 11, bring your loved one to the vineyard for a Valentine’s Day-themed tasting of the winery’s Sunset Reds. As you imbibe, you’ll be treated to dessert from Leesburg’s Sweetz Bakery, live music, a free flower and discounted bottles for purchase. Cost is $23 for Sunset Hills Club members and $26 general admission, with sessions available at noon, 2 and 4 p.m. // Sunset Hills Vineyard: 38295 Fremont Overlook Lane, Purcellville
