Virginia Tech, Blacksburg

Despite it being the 21st century, women and girls are still faced with inequalities and glass ceilings.

Luckily for the women of the state, Virginia Tech makes a move each summer to create equality for women in career positions through its C-Tech2 Program—Computers and Technology at Virginia Tech.

The main focus of the camp to enhance and uphold women’s interest in engineering. The young women who are participating in this program will spend the majority of their time involved in hands-on activities geared towards increasing their knowledge of engineering and ability to apply it to real-world experiences. –Rebecca Norris
