If your child is a sports fiend, Mary Washington is the campus offering the most of what’s right up their alley. With a wide range of university- and Nike-sponsored sports camps, your child will be able to partake in any sport of their choosing this summer.
Want to bend it like Beckham? The Eagles Soccer Academy focuses on skill development for players of all ages and skill levels. The camp’s experienced staff splits the campers into smaller groups to focus on mini games and individual techniques. The camp provides small groups focused on individual technique and small-sided games.
You’ll be sure to hit a homer by enrolling your child in one of the Riser Baseball Camps led by Mary Washington University’s head baseball coach Wayne Riser. During the camps, instructors focus on hitting, fielding, throwing, pitching, catching, defense and injury prevention.
Is your child all about that swoosh? If so, they’re in luck this summer with the option of Nike lacrosse, volleyball and field hockey camps at Mary Washington. Nike camps are built around the goal of challenging campers of all skill levels and abilities to get better results from training, to build new skills and to improve upon their play.
