A smiling face is always a great way to start the morning, and if you tune in to ABC 7’s Good Morning Washington on weekdays, you’ll find reporter KRISTEN POWERS smiling right back. “I have the best job ever. I get to wake you up and get you ready for the day,” says the TV reporter, who joined the local news team in summer 2019. Prior to her move to the ABC station’s Rosslyn headquarters, she was covering local news in California, but during college, she interned on Capitol Hill as a multimedia journalist. So you could say her arrival in the DC region is a homecoming of sorts. Here, Powers shares all of her fashion faves, plus where you can find her in NoVA when she’s not bringing you the news.
