New Piercing Studio to Open in One Loudoun Later This Month

Rowan’s first Virginia location is set to introduce the region to nurse-led ear piercings.

By Michele Kettner January 19, 2024 at 2:46 pm

Gone are the days when you go to the mall to get your ears pierced. Rowan, a new ear piercing studio opening in One Loudoun on January 30, wants to make it easier to get your studs.

The Ashburn location will mark Rowan’s first studio in Virginia. Don’t expect to find any piercing guns, cheap metals, or allergic reactions when you step through the doors at Rowan. At this studio, all piercings are performed by registered nurses using either needle piercing or a hand-pressured device.

These professionals are trained for all ages, needs, and ear placements, so you can trust you’re in good hands. They also put aftercare in the forefront, providing complimentary, special care solutions to speed the healing process.

All of the earrings used and sold at Rowan are hypoallergenic — made with premium metals including 14-karat solid gold, gold vermeil, gold plating over sterling silver, and sterling silver.

Those interested in scheduling a needle piercing appointment, which is recommended for adults, can expect to pay $35 per piercing plus the cost of studs. Device piercing appointments are $35 for one piercing and $50 for two piercings plus the cost of studs. The studio also offers post downsize for $25 (only available Monday through Friday) and jewelry change for $15. Appointments are currently available to book online.

The company’s website also lists a location at Mosaic District coming soon. 20331 Exchange St., Ashburn
