How to Spend a Day

You can choose to begin your day with a hike on the Appalachian Trail in Roanoke County, local museums and galleries in Downtown Roanoke, a Salem Red Sox game in the City of Salem, a scenic drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Botetourt County, or moonshine and music in Franklin County. It’s all part of the experience of a visit to the Roanoke region in Virginia’s Blue Ridge.
